BBSST IS AVAILABLE AT ALBA MIDDLE SCHOOL

The Building-Based Student Support Team (BBSST) is available for students who are not being successful at school. This team works together to offer classroom teachers and students strategies to help each child achieve.  For information contact Mrs. Blackmon or Mrs. Mayfield at 251-824-4134.

BBSST Provides:

·        Collaboration of problem-solving strategies

·        Shared responsibility and accountability

·        Immediate support for teacher and student

·        Immediate implementation of interventions

·        Documentation of intervention strategies

·        Clarification of student needs

·        A process to reduce unnecessary special

      education referrals
